5 Easy Steps

1.Getting Started

The first step in the process is to arrange a site inspection with an “Building Industrie Group” representative. Our representative will be able to tell you there and then whether your land would be suitable for your specific project and the potential designs and sizes of the building that you would be able to build on your property for your anticipated budget. Our representative will be able to supply you with a preliminary quote for the building of your project along with any anticipated site costs.

2.Fixed Quotation

If you decide that you want to proceed then step 2 is for us to agree to a design that is suitable for your property, agree the level of fittings that will be used in the build and provide you with a fixed cost quote for the project. This quote would include the design cost, site costs and build cost. The quote would take into account costs required to comply with BASIX plus the cost of getting your Complying Development Certificate (CDC) but would not include Section 94 charges that are payable to council. At this stage we will be able to give you a clear view of how much it is going to cost and how long we anticipate that it is going to take.

3.APPROVAL

Once we have an agreed design and cost we will arrange for the CDC or DA to be applied for. This process normally takes around 3-4 weeks and once it is complete we can commence the build. During this period we will also arrange for the building contract to be signed, arrange insurance, arrange for a deposit to be paid and start the application process for your home owner’s warranty.

4.Build

Once the CDC/DA and any other approvals have been acquired we can commence the build. Our professional construction team would start building your building. Given the proximity to neighbors and the living areas of your own home our team will do their best to ensure that work is completed as quickly and quietly as possible. Our competent team will organise all aspects of the build from the laying of foundations to the installation of the services. You can sit back, relax and wait for your house to be completed.

5.Upon Completion

Once the build is complete, your project manager will be there to walk you through the completed house and to hand you the keys.
